I agree with Ace. Women, you are silly. You do all sorts of things to make your feet look nice – pedicures, the wearing of sexy, revealing shoes that are certainly not worn for mere function, toe rings, anklets, etc. – and then you look upon men such as myself, who appreciate what you do to make your feet look pretty, as though we were perverts. I’ve never understood this. And I envy the men involved in those rare relationships where the woman shares in the fetish, too and accomodates her partner. I’m currently in my third marriage. Each time, I’ve been forthright and honest about what I like. Each time during dating, my partners expressed that they didn’t mind my fetish and would participate in it. And each time, I was fooled. It is sad. What makes a man attracted to feet somehow any different from being attracted to any other part of the body – breasts, butts, legs, hair, hands?

If you only knew what a charge it is for me to see women wear low-cut toe cleavage shoes – heels or flats – and to have nice, well cared-for feet. There would never be any need for Viagra if I could find such a woman. Where are you out there? It’s been nothing but disappointment for me thus far in my life.

I also have major baby fever. I am 26 and engaged, and the wedding is in June. I have been feeling this for a long time, but I thought I should wait until the wedding and start right away. I can’t stop thinking about babies, and the cute things they have for babies! I want one so bad and no matter how hard I try not to think about it, I can’t. It’s insane. I think about it all the time!!

I totaly have baby fever, i’m 20 and newly married. It’s like something just clicked whenever I got married, i’ve never had this urgent feeling to pro-create before, haha.

LOL, he did not say that…did he? It’s unfortunate that pro-choice has been turned into pro-abortion, I mean come on, no one is pro-abortion. It’s actually been shown that abortion rates are higher when it’s illegal so theoretically all these people who are all about stopping abortions should actually want them to be legal, it only makes sense if they truly want less “baby killing” going on.

Ditto. My best friend and I are on the outs. It’s not just her dumb undecidedness, but some other stuff too (anti-gay, her kid is mean to my kid, she named her baby something offensive to Jews). I know what you mean about at least having FRIENDS you agree with, or at least who have positions you can respect.

Thanks for your kind words on my post, btw. I actually read them to my husband and he said, “You should write for Obama. He likes killing babies too!” Ha ha. Right.

I worried and tried to plan too, and in the end, none of it went the way I thought it would. Ryan was such an easy baby, and I never considered my second would not be- Cole is a high needs little guy, and nothing prepared me for that.

I think you should think about it, but in the end, you don’t know what it will be like until you are there. River could surprise you, or he could act just like you think he will- same thing with the baby. In the end, you do have to work with cards you have been dealt, and you figure it out faster than you think.

I felt guilty about weaning Ryan at 26 months, but I could not stand him nursing a second longer ( I was seven months pregnant when I weaned him). Cole is now 29 months and is still nursing. I don’t plan to wean him, and even though I am sad at times Ryan didn’t get to nurse that long, Cole never has had my undivided attention like Ryan has since he was the firstborn. So, don’t feel guilty. It is a trade-off, and sometimes one child may get more of something at one time, and vice versa. You are a great mom.

I’m so glad you are blogging again.
